I wish I could find my spoken copy of Steve’s poem…I wish more people could hear it. He was one of my great loves, and friendships and so much of what he said had stayed tucked in my ribcage.

I know there is a recording of when he performed it for the first time at the 2005 semi-finals at the Agora Lounge. That was such a big night. I will try to find my beautiful box of poetry.
