Sharing stories with a stranger
…making friends backwards
I often feel lucky that I don’t communicate in a fashion that requires small talk. My brain can’t handle the drudgery of the day to day.
It means that I often get to the heart of what people want to tell me more quickly. And that since I’ve decided to forgo regular conversations, I have made more friends…who are…heart-friends?
I have so much to say. But I’ve spent the day sharing stories with a wondrous person who is now my friend.
And I just got home.
But I wanted to write today’s book because the prompt was ridiculous.
So here it is, and I’ll tell you about my week this far…tomorrow?

Thank you so much! For the sea! You seriously rock. I wanted to say that I don’t like small talk, but I use it as a means to an end. I’m really good at using it to figure out what I have in common with a person and getting to the heart of the matter really fast. But once I’m there - unless I find the person objectionable - I don’t hesitate to go straight for the really interesting and important stuff.
Happy giggle!! 🤓💗
