That's wonderful. I've always wandered from job to job. I know a little bit about a lot of things, and a lot about a few. Happy with variety too, and happiest now that everything I do includes art and writing and people and community. It's definitely my happiest decade of life. AND, I loved The Bob Newhart show when I was a kid. I had a big crush on Emily and could understand what she found appealing about Bob. She had that sexy voice and all... And that show really does have one of the best series finale episodes of any tv show (except for my all time favorite, the last episode of Six Feet Under). xo
Ooh! I think I’ve talked my partner into doing a rewatch of Newhart! (It’s one of the first tv shows we watched together during our first vacation at a writers retreat)
And I haven’t watched Six Feet Under since I was in my 20s! I’m not sure I ever got to the finale, and I loved that show so much! (I shall put it on my rewatch list)
Ooooh. Maybe I'll do that too. Did you think Emily was hot? That was a fun show. I wonder if it aged well. Six Feet Under? I've seen it at least 5 times. My dad and I loved it. We watched it together. When we weren't together, we'd watch it while on the phone together. That show was sheer joy, pain, laughter, love and human. If you haven't seen the finale, you must. That might need to be a rewatch too. xo
Oh, wow Wake! It really does sound like pieces falling into place for you. (In my head can hear the tiny echoes and rustle of metaphorical pieces falling, and the click as they drop into place.)
Lucky Inn to get your presence, and woo hoo for all the potential!

I might be able to summon up mental movies of pieces falling into place, but I am having trouble finding magic today, for future plans.
I can, however, recall many moments of delight, affirmation and play with various students, telling crazy stories while I facilitated their partial acquisition of Indonesian. - And one of my classrooms was right next to bushland, and wild creatures sometimes came close.
Yep - a few good memories are suggesting themselves. Thanks for the prompt to share.
Oh: I did help to facilitate a good community gathering a few days back.

Congratulations on your new job! It sounds wonderful. I can't wait to watch your show. Gilmore Girls is one of my favorites.
I so hope that you’ll be able to watch it someday. It’s wild how much goes into the making of a television show.
But I think it’s time for more Canadian gentleness out in the world.🥹💖
I would love that.
Sounds like you're having fun, Wake! And you get to share your magical, warm, and welcoming self in many different settings! Lucky us! xo
It is so much fun. (I sort have always loved working…because it feels like a daily adventure to me)
🥰I think that being in multiple places satisfies my need for novelty and being a nomad.
…thus I am never ever bored, and always looking forward to my next shift.

💖💖💖! You calling me tiger made me giggle!
This week has been so full of magic, I may have to stay inside tomorrow! 😂

Sandwich abyss! 🥪 Ha ha.🙂
I love imagining you teaching while wild creatures peer curiously into the windows!
Thank you for taking a moment to capture some beautiful moments, even in your tired state.
I think I definitely am leaning towards restarting the Iridescent Robot Club. I miss listening to stories and gathering my friends.
But I’d have to find a time that made sense for our shared time zones, because I want you to be able to come, should you want 💖
